[ she has to live with the choices she makes... but the choice she made killed her parents. she broke her promise to them and now they're dead. she's always told herself that killing almeidrea would bring her closure — it would get rid of the woman who took everything from her. but it would also, she had hoped, make her feel better about her own mistakes. if she could just kill almeidrea, then she could say she'd fixed things.
but she'd been naive. and proof of that is in the words law's saying to her right now. at this point, who knows whether she'll be happier after this? she was so sure she would be, but now... now, she doesn't know.
it's not that his words aren't working — they are — but they're bringing a lot of uncertainty to her. she'd already been grappling with what was said before, but now these new words are not only making things clearer, they're also making things harder.
she sounds a little more desperate now, her eyes involuntarily beginning to fill up with tears. ]
