[He definitely doesn't mean to sound like he's condescending to her by stating what they need to do... he just wanted to convey that it's the next step they need to take. That she won't be alone, that he isn't forgiving Almeidrea's actions by any stretch.
But as ever, even after putting days into thinking about how to talk about it to her... Law still fumbles on his words. He's just plain bad at it, even at times when he really needs to pull through. It's frustrating for him, to say the least.
He doesn't let himself get focused on it, though. Not when Rinwell says she needs to tell him something. Not when she sounds as if she's about to just break and that alone makes his stomach do anxious flips.]

Not too close but... well, close enough that if she needs a shoulder to lean on, he can at least do that much for her.
